David Andrews

David, born in Vancouver, has been working in the UK for over 30 years. He was CEO of Yorkshire Tourist Board before setting up Welcometraining (customer service training) and Andrews Associates (business & marketing consultancy). David is a passionate advocate of the need for outstanding customer service and the impact it has on business and brand loyalty.

He has provided marketing and management training predominately for SME’s local authorities, and other public agencies.

Awarded The Queen Mother Award in 2000, he has won national marketing awards and is a Fellow & Chartered Marketer, Welcome to Excellence trainer and a Fellow of the Tourism Society. He is completing a PhD at Leeds Beckett University on trust, partnership and collaboration.
